NYC Window Sill

I was subletting in NYC during an especially cold January when this photograph taken. Even though I was paying to stay there I still felt like a guest in someone else's home so I was very careful not to rearrange things. I thought the irony of sea shells with a cold wintery backdrop amusing - both in contrast and that they represented the idea that warmer days were possible!
